Got Cougar 11 months ago. June 27 '05 and just turned 18,600+ fantastic funfilled miles. Sold the Harley, the Feejer is the only bike in the garage now. Never to look back.

Radman's right. There's a rash of these every delivery period. It happened on my 05. I went back to the dealer, showed them the multiple posts from others with 'over torqued' bolts and the same stripped threads. The dealer called Yami. They overnighted a new pan and fixed it the next day...
