    New to me '05

And the backrest looks a lot like one made by our very own Garauld. He is a forum member that makes a number of farkles for the FJR. High quality. I have a large luggage rack and backrest of his on mine, not that I will get to use it anymore after getting hit on it earlier this month, but...

    SFO '10!

Screw it, unless I just can't stand the jostle of riding in a car, the GF and I are coming anyway. Will suck being in a 4 wheeler, but I doubt I will be on 2 wheels anytime real soon. Fingers crossed, I will see you guys anyway. Maybe I can steal a wheel chair somewhere. Bryan

Yeah, I put the gear in the side bags. It got towed to the shop this afternoon. Guess they will start looking at it middle of next week. I was moving around a little, but things are REALLY starting to stiffen up now. Sheeeeeit........ Bryan

Thats a good idea Don. Here in a little while, I am going to meet the tow guy at the bike, so will be taking a bunch of pictures. Will get some of the intersection and landing spots too. Biggest thing I am miffed about is missing out on the stories and fun at SFO. Bryan

Oh yeah, forgot about that part, been checked out. Once I laid back down at the scene, I knew this was going to be a painful experience. Got a ride in the box on wheels, and lots of xrays and people poking and prodding. I thought for sure something in the hip area had to be broken, but all...

    SFO '10!

Well, I suppose, thanks to my get off yesterday, I am likely not going to make it this year. I am unbelievably pissed off about it too. I just don't figure I can get over the pain and get the bike checked out before I was scheduled to leave. Truly sucks ass and I will miss you guys this year...

@(*&^$(&^#(*&%$)($# I got taken out yesterday around 1600. As far as motorcycle wrecks go, it wasn't bad. I will admit, it hurts like hell though. Pain pills aren't really touching this crap. Going around a mall loop at Collin Creek in Plano, two lanes each direction, stops signs at each...

    Who's goin to SFO?

Hmmm, I didn't see anything about that in registration.

    Question for AE owners

If you aren't doing anything to induce the bounce, that is a major problem. Same as others, mine is a harder engagement when cold, and if I roll onto the throttle hard, it will slip second gear for just a second. Nothing else and if I do it right, you can hardly tell a gear change took place...

    SFO was a Hoax

One of the shots from the trip up. Mo Wetta! Didn't take the big camera and with the water, didn't get the little camera out much at all. Nothing great to show off............Maybe next year. Bryan

    Arriving safe at home check-in

Home. I think Tonia enjoyed her first longer trip on a bike. 1050 miles, mostly in the rain. Love the way my bike performed for me, but rather happy at the moment to be on the couch for a while. Thanks Michelle for all the hard work. Hope to see everybody on the next trip.............. Bryan

So I Think I'm About To Know A Dead Guy

Ari, I am not normally one to comment on such things. I am sorry you find yourself in this position. Personally, if you think this kid is capable of all of this with the plates and insurance, then the time to talk to an officer is here. Next chance you get, write down whatever plate number...

    First scratches..................

This is probably as fixed as it is going to get for a little while. My only fear is it starting down the path of looking like odots bike..............................long way to go yet mind you.

    First scratches..................

Sliders are installed, but they don't protect the mirror or bags. Thankfully, none of the really expensive plastic took scratches. Completely sober, photo taken after I got home, but certainly feel like having a drink now..................damnit.
