I ordered and received my concave cee bailey shorty yesterday. It works and looks great!! I did not have the luxury of owning two tall shields so I did not cut my original down- saved $100 that way.

After reading all of the posts about the shorter shields, I decided to buy a concave cee baily instead of cutting mine. I couldn't see spending around $200 for a new wind shield when I could buy the short one for $100.

I recieved a safety recall for my 03 for the throttle position sensor. I live near Waco but would rather not take my bike to the local dealer for this work. Do any of you recommend any Y - shops around Georgetown or Ft. Worth for this recall? Thanks for your help.

My 03 consistantly gets 43-46 mpg, no farkles except staintune cans. I ride mostly at 70 - 80 mph.

I bought a yellow safety vest from Home Depot and wear it at night. I don't know if it has helped avoid an accident but I do know I am better seen!!!!!!!!
