Yooper, I had this same observation when I had the stock Metzler Z6's. I went with the PR2's and the bike is now very neutral and doesn't want to stand up in the corners....stays where you put it. Much nicer to ride now.

Put on a set of Michelin Pilot Road 2's. My 08 came with Z6's and the bike felt a bit truckish (especially after they were wore out). I love my FJR now. The PR2's made a huge difference. But it is a big bike, and it is what it is.

I'm looking for a Corbin seat. Must be in great condition. I Would like rider and passenger seats but would settle for the front saddle only. I prefer all black with standard stitching as pictured on the Corbin website. Rod

Too bad they didn't provide an 1/8 inch jack so you could use the speakers/ear buds of your choice. I think it's a significant design flaw. Otherwise I like everything I have read about the Scala G4. My 2 cents.

ugar-6, Are you getting the 4 year YES with the 07? Is this from a dealer or private party? I got lucky and scored my 08 with 3250 miles for 9k back in December. I haven't seen anything close since then. Having had both I would be inclined to wait for the right deal on a 08. Good luck!
