Count me in. I picked up a Gen II in Feb after the Gen I hit 118,000 miles so it was too late to jump on last years buy. After over 7000 miles on the stock seat I am definitely up for a replacement. Would prefer the Nov - Feb time frame for turning in the seat for the change over.
PS I have...
That one was my bike. Good runner, nothing to complain about on it as it has been extremely reliable. Just when they came out with the blue bike this year and Triumph did not come out with the Sport Tourer it made up my mind to start over again. A lot of highway miles commuting about 400...
I rolled in with the rain about 11 AM. Was dry till we got within 5 miles of Conway then ran into the front south of town. After about an hour though it let up and there were only an occasional shower.
Definitely the weekend to get out and ride. Sorry to see your invite late as already have plans to head down to Lars Anderson Transportation museum for the European vintage bike meet. Keep us posted on other rides and will try to show up.
No doubt VT is in New England but we do wonder about MA and it's loyalties. :haha: I am game for when you want to go for a spin, just let me know the date.
Finally got some riding in this week on the FJR with the break in weather. I am now commuting into that southern state of MA and the...
Yeah, I am waiting for the snow plow to come by and clear the road so I can go out for the first ride of the season. Lacking chains for the FJR though it will have to be on the DR350.
At least the Moko s helped hold the fairing on when we picked up the bike, and hardly a scratch on them. Man you stopped quick. :scare2: More than I could say about the free floating handle bars. Sorry to hear the insurance will not cover all the loss.
Afraid I have to report back to work...
Talking about a group to ride with, well at the motel with us there was, ummm, forgot to count how many bikes were there for the picture. Did any one get a tally? Ended up riding with a lot of different folks for the weekend and talking to even more. Thanks every one for showing up and making...
Ok so big Dinner Sunday Night :P . Saturday B-B-Que or crash the Pig Roast. Friday night aim for where ever the FJRs are parked.
Oh, and Ophelia is not invited!
Do people tend to have Breakfast at the Carriage House Resteraunt located at the Talley Ho Motel or is there another popular breakfast spot that would be good to meet up with other riders?
If there is a cork board or white board in the conference room I am willing to put down what time I am...
Can we add a page to the EOM site showing who has registered for the Saturday dinner? That way people will realize that they really need to make a commitment ahead of time. I know I received confirmation from Mr. Bill but also curious who will be joining us.

If you are coming up from Providence, and plan to make the show, then you better stick to the expressway as that is quite a distance. A lot of the bikes start clearing out around 2 PM and the peak attendance is around noon. Mapquest shows it as 255 miles and almost 5 hours by I-95 and Rt 1...
:o A little surprised when I went to the picture web site and saw my GTS as the featured picture show up. Wished I could have stayed longer to see the riders off but had to get back to work. Thanks for the shot and wishing the participants the best on the last leg.
I heard several riders...
