On my 4th FJR. Over 40 years of riding assorted bikes, mostly Honds Gold Wings, but in 1993, I met the Yamaha GTS 1000 (which now belongs to a good friend). That bike was a wow! But when the 2003 FJR came to the US, that was a WOW, and they just keep getting better. Had the 2003, 2007, 2008, and now riding the 2016. Also ride a 2011 Suzuki 650 VStrom for dirt and gravel fun. Have toured most of the US, some Canada, Nova Scotia (once by FJR, once by VStrom), 5 countries in Europe, South Africa (Europe and SA on rented BMW's). Used to do a fair bit of personal wrenching, but not so much now -- just love learning more from others!
