Bad ABS hydraulic unit/module 2007A, per Yamaha dealer

YES!!!!! Rayzerman19 had an ABS block for a 2007. Intech hosted a tech day this past weekend and I pulled my bike to Intech's house. Rayzerman19 quickly dove into diagnostic mode and the bleeding of brake fluid from every possible hole started. After being fairly certain the ABS block was...

Bad ABS hydraulic unit/module 2007A, per Yamaha dealer

To answer a few questions from above. The new master cylinder was not "bench bled", to be honest I am not sure what you are referring to. I do have speed bleeders installed and did before this happened. Looks to be quite a few videos on how to reverse bleed motorcycle brakes on youtube. I am...

Bad ABS hydraulic unit/module 2007A, per Yamaha dealer

I will keep pushing and pumping new fluid in the system. Possibly worth mentioning.....this issue did not start after right after I changed the fluid or did anything that would introduce air in the system. It just kinda started one day.

Bad ABS hydraulic unit/module 2007A, per Yamaha dealer

Once I squeeze the brakes firm and walk away for about a minute, when I return I have pull the lever approx 2 times for pressure to build to the level it should be at. Rotating the wheel or temperature has not had any change to the situation. The same issue exist while actively riding in 90...

Bad ABS hydraulic unit/module 2007A, per Yamaha dealer

Actually after I squeeze the lever once, I have braking power for that one stop/maneuver. My rear brakes are fine so I am not sure I have the issue mentioned by Colin24. Since I have had the bike home I have cycled the ABS module multiple times and used the Mity Vac. I must say my brake lever...

It is as loud in person as it is in the video. The rear brake feels like I would expect it to in reference to pulsation. The front lever very forcefully pushes out and you can feel it pulse, but not as defined as the rear. The sound stay the same for the entire cycle.

Bad ABS hydraulic unit/module 2007A, per Yamaha dealer

The new master cylinder was brand new OEM, the entire unit, not just the seals. It was frustrating months ago. Recently I don't have the words to describe it. When I get a chance I am going to uninstall and reinstall the master cylinder. If that does not work, I am going to purchase a used...

Bad ABS hydraulic unit/module 2007A, per Yamaha dealer

They are going to fix or replace my tank. I used a Mity Vac today and still have the same issue. I took a video and put it on youtube. Let me know if the ABS module is supposed to be making the loud noise mine is making.

Bad ABS hydraulic unit/module 2007A, per Yamaha dealer

Mity Vac purchased today. Fingers crossed it is still something simple. Still intrigued from the ABS testing from last night based on the dealership saying I needed to replace the ABS module.
