I'm too old to be sitting in the paddock in full leathers under a little canopy with the FL sun beating down on me.

As far as the trailering, my wife is willing to put in several hours on the bike, but NOT all day riding day after day on a trip. I want her to enjoy riding around the country on great roads and view scenery that you don't find in central FL. So it's a bit of a compromise, but worth it...
