Jeez, I didn’t realize I haven’t updated this thread. I performed a little surgery on my ‘08 and replaced the water pump with a used one from a 2018. Problem solved. I Hadn’t heard this noise before so I guess I’m never too old to learn….

I agree! There were many times where I considered getting rid of my 08, I am so glad I never gave into the urge to sell her. It is still the perfect FJR for me, even though I own a newer one too.
Yes, I love the black one for so many reasons but I couldn’t pass up the 2013, too good of a deal. The silver color did grow on me, still wish that one was black too though.
Aah yes, it’s a ‘75 GMC K25 4x4 Sierra Grande. New 350 engine, driveline rebuilt, sitting on 37” Humvee tires. It’s a time machine really, sure feels like that when I drive it haha!
