    The fuel capacity on the KLR isn't bad for a stock tank at 6 gallons but your right the KLR is hardly a cruise missile. The biggest issue with this KLR is it's lone 55 watt halogen on the front.

    Join the club, I don't think this has ever been done before. It was mentioned that the checkpoint would now be a bonus. It must be a required bonus and time restricted somehow. If it were a regular bonus all riders could skip it or claim it before they left a couple days ago.

    One thing I haven't seen addressed is when can the riders who are not skipping the second checkpoint leave?? Since there's no scoring and they already have the leg three bonuses what do they have to stay for? Can they leave right after they've checked in? Wait until the 0400 riders meeting?
