    FJR Forum Decal design

Remove trunk if I was picky. But for a sticker, it speaks well for the majority of this community (sport/touring).

    Bike Drop/Sliders

Bill, I think you're good with what you have. You know it's your choice and your money but I think it's good like it is. Most have just the sliders and save that $300 for the touch up paint or a new mirror. Go out and ride brother! (and just don't drop the bike!!!)

    Gas in oil

Ok, just talking (typing?) out loud here... so help me dispell this one... Is it possible, after some recent maintenance, the gas over fill/pressure drain (proper name?) got hung up to somewhere near the air filter box? Something like that would account for the gas smell getting past a gas...

    Bike Drop/Sliders

Hey Bill. Not much mystery with sliders mounted to the engine points except the differing variables. Like; some sliders stick out more and keep more bike away from the ground when things sucome to gravity; expect a mirror to hit (and maybe fold at the hinge getting no more than a scratch); side...

Adding Coolant to 2010 FJR - Help

Seems like you're trying to fill an already full system. What's low is the reservoir. Fill that to the full line with your skinny funnel and seat the cap properly. (Said trusting all this is on a cool engine.)

What did you do to your FJR today?

Gary, you knew the bike would make it, but now you have excellant creds to your own endurance and personal limit. 'Way' to push it!

    THE ROAD WARRIORS

Because I know things like this exist, I can't settle for things like NASCAR. This is real racing on a superior level by multiple factors. The vids were well made too, illustrating the divide of this and most mainstream racing of any kind.

    TRACK DAY Dyno

Yeah, slow day for me too.

    Disconnecting one headlight

I'm puzzled too, but maybe a toggle switch spiced into that particlar headlight and placed at a location that suits you. A flip will restore juice when you want it without problem.

    Oil Level "Growth" Circumvention

So...you had your bike on the center stand to drain and fill oil...then you went and rode for a few thousand kilos...then you park your bike on the side stand and check the oil sight gage and...shazam! EXPANDED OIL! Damn, I got the same phenomenum. What brand oil are you using?

    Spark plug cap & wire

Maybe. If the clip at the end of the wire is solidly connected to the wire and the clip "snaps" firmly around the spark plug tip then all is good. Of course the rubber boot slips over the plug to protect and isolate it too. If the bare wire has separated from what I'm calling the "clip"...
