    Anyone use tank bags?

+1. Nice little tank bags. Good compromise of features and size.

    More luggage options

+1 on this. The subframe isn't built for ton of weight. I've crammed a bunch of stuff into my V46 sometimes, and it's held up when touring. But, I wouldn't make it a regular thing. The dry bag on the pillion seat is something I've done as well and it's a really good solution. Don't forget to...

    Wrist pain after 3 hours

Here's the link to the original Master Yoda thread over on the BMWsporttouring site: https://www.bmwsporttouring.com/topic/316-master-yodas-riding-position/#comment-2645 It's good enough to be repeated here again.

    Wrist pain after 3 hours

The trick is to arch your back just a little bit to activate your core and take the pressure off your arms. It doesn't take a lot of strength to do it and with a little practice it becomes normal and very comfortable. Yoda.

The two and three cylinder scream machines called "sport tourers"

I have to point out that even 2 cylinders can make a decent sport touring motorcycle:

    Getting a new bike, beamer...

Mine's a 2023 so I could configure all of that in the TFT set up. I haven't really seen anything I need to manipulate yet, so I'll stick with the lesser version. It's easy and cheap to upgrade if I need to. I agree on the OBD2 reader. Get the Motoscan recommended version. Pretty easy to use.

    Getting a new bike, beamer...

This is the route I went. Works well enough for what I do. I didn't do the ultimate version of Motoscan as it will allow you to recode some of the sensors and I didn't want to make a bad mistake that would cause me to have to take it to a dealer. I just wish the documentation was a bit...

For the record, I ride a BMW and I was insufferable way before then.

    Bike Wont Start

If, and this is a big if, the air cut off valve failed the PAIR system could pull negative pressure on the crankcase from the air box. Or, depending on state, the crankcase could push positive pressure that way. The reeds should stop this. When I've looked at my reeds they were so gunked up...

    Bike Wont Start

Exactly. A couple of things come to mind, a really rich condition which points to an EFI issue, a PAIR system malfunction where it was pulling crankcase gases without closing the valve, and possibly a rider issue if it was lugged for a long time. But what it isn't, is a fuel quality issue...

    Heated grips.

I'm rocking Grip Buddies and it does take a bit for the heat to get through. But it does get there. Personally, I very much like the thicker, softer grip - YMMV. Personal choice is a wonderful thing.

When Tommy Chong moves in next door

Sort of like living next to a someone who races cars. I'm the last person to complain about noise from motorsports. I have been/am that hooligan. But, there is a time to tune on your stuff. Nobody appreciates a midnight start after you've spent two days rebuilding your main bullet. As much as...
