The OEM connector to the Voltage rectifier/regulator on my 2009 is toast -- there is no longer a solid positive connection from the cable/connector to the regulator. Yamaha has NO replacement -- Trying to find a replacement (rather than replace the entire wiring harness? -- ouch)
Any ideas...
Problem Solved! (but I'll never wash this thing again)
The Yamaha-dog dealer found a "subassy" connector "box", located under the left side of the gas tank (??) (which I haven't had the balls to look closer at to locate, nor have I found any reference to this in the 755 page of worthless...
I'm screwed...
Can't find anything to fix this....
Bike hauled to Yamaha dealer -- in the rain...

Checked the error codes -- all looks fine -- can...

When I get back to the shop -- I'll continue my quest -- but now it's 95 in the shade (I know, I should go off to mambi-pambi land)
(and I believe...
Weather stripping IS removed (prior to me removing:
Left & right side panel, left & ride side cowling
Bottom cowling
Left & right side inner panel
Windshield
Beginning to think I should live with the chatter of the moving windshield -- but something binding --
Speed of movement (compared...
Trying to remove the front cowling from a 2009.
Have pretty much EVERYTHING removed, except for a single bolt that resides behind the Yamaha logo-disk.
Can't figure out how to get there from here (seems pretty stupid when all I'm trying to do is eliminate the chatter when the windshield goes...
