I'm sorry about your crash & the injuries to both you & your wife but on the good side your post has hit home to everyone who reads it about being careful - in that respect I believe you have touched many a rider which will allow them to think of this as the riding season opens up & we all do...

Years ago I also had an accident where they put me back together like Humpty Dumpty & it took 3 & 1/2 years to get back to normal so I say CONGRATS to you as to do what you have done & to come from where you were at is quite an accomplishment - I wish you the very best.

I have a 2016 with Ctearwater Darla's down on the forks & I run them with amber lenses on them - they are adjustable as far as brightness goes & go on full brightness with my high beams - they help with being seen as well as seeing - I also have reflective tape along with extra lights on the...

I'm somewhat new here - may I ask if this is some kind of FJR rally & if so can anyone attend & what does EOM stand for ?? I appreciate any & all help.

Beautiful bike that looks like (as you said) in excellent shape - you should have no problem & someone will have a very Merry Christmas.

The one thing not mentioned here is the gas tank & range. I have a friend who has a 1200RS & he is BMW all the way but I don't like the looks of the RS as much as I do the "sleek" lines of the FJR - I don't like that it doesn't have an electric windshield & I don't like the cost of maintenance...

Nice looking ride - I currently have a 2016 (purchased used a year ago) with just over 40,000 but I had a 2014 that I put on 105,000 in 38 months with never a problem - love these FJR's.

I have seen these 26 pages & I believe 25 of them are instructions on this transmission recall (they say a 14 hour job) & also a front brake/front brake light/cruise control issue - I found it unbelievable.
