I am 5'8", when the bike was stock I didn't have a problem with the forward lean. But could not ride more than 90 minutes with the stock seat. Got a Russell Day Long seat and I could tell right away the extra height of the seat leaned me forward more than I liked. Bought a Helibar triple...
I installed a pair of PIAA sport horns day one and they get people's attention for sure.
All of this took place in about three seconds. Neighborhood kid was on his bicycle, he was 7 at the time, he saw me coming down the street slowly and he got the bad idea of cutting me off. I jumped on...
I noticed the same issue when I ride with a top case, it just feels a touch loose. Unfortunately I haven't been on a long trip since I got it so I can't say if it goes away with weight in it. I notice it the most on windy days.
I bought some MostPlus LEDs off of Amazon 2-3 years ago and they have worked fine. I don't ride at night often, the few times I have it throws a good beam. Compared before and after on my garage door and the beam matched up really close. I did have to trim the boots a little to get the fit...
I think the McCruise works great, but is slightly more cash than the $20-$30 prices being thrown around. 😁 Expensive but very happy with it and much cheaper than a new bike.
That is a great 1st world problem to have!! I hope I have another 100 years before I have to make those decisions, at that point I'll follow your lead. 😁
I asked the same question when I put new coolant in a couple summers ago. I had to go through three or four heat cycles (let it set overnight then checked then reservoir) before it stopped pulling fluid in from the reservoir.
I really like this bike but not as something I would ride cross country with. To accomplish that it really needs more wind protection and a shaft drive. More power would be better but could live with it if I had to I guess.
Very happy to see it in production for another year and hope it continues for many many more.
Suggestion List for next year:
1) offer an A model
2) mix up the colors a bit. Very confused how their marketing department can say, yeah lets run this gray out there again.
