So just giving you guys an update for anyone interested. After some X-ray's and an MRI I have been told that I have a cam type femoroacetabular impingement, and a probable labral tear. It looks like surgery is in my near future, but outcome is generally 80% success. We shall see what's in store...

Sitting on the bike is definitely not comfortable anymore, I'd agree that the straddle is the big problem. Riding horses is out too!

Yes it is!  I'd prefer not to go the route of surgery but if the outlook was good, I'd at least consider it. Thanks for the input and ideas.
