I got an '06 AE in the spring of 2019 actually in spite of the eclutch because of the condition and price. I agree that there are occasionally situations that would be a little easier being able to feather the clutch but there's really nothing that it can't do in that regard. On the other hand...
I have a Throttlemeister on my ST1100 and just put a Kaoko on my FJR. Throttlemeister engages just by laying my pinkie on it as I'm opening the throttle while I have to crank on the Kaoko to get it to hold the throttle open. Besides that it does work and looks unobtrusive.
Hello rainman,
I saw your bike this morning on FB and saved it even though I'm perfectly happy with my '06 AE (and my ST1100 actually). Is you price on this forum the same as on FB? $2,800? If so, you might want to put it in the title as that is a pretty good price even at 130K miles.
GLWS!
Dave, I think I read your review on the other forum and have been giving this product some thought. One question I have is if you are able to hear any thing going on around you like sirens, brakes screeching or even how high the bike is revving. I would love really clear audio but on the other...
I know! I am watching this ad but here's my situation:
I have the nighthawk 450 and the NC700X listed and I'm finishing up the maintenance and detail of the CB1000 so I can list it. If I can sell two and you still have your's, I'll be heading your way!
Beautiful bike! I wish I was in a position where I could afford it and had the space to park it. I'm trying to sell a few of my herd but it might be a little early in the season still. GLWS!
Howdy Neighbor, I'm in Westfield so I know Sheridan.
Down there you guys are lucky to be close to some of the best roads in Indiana. It's pretty much straight and flat up here. I will probably have to get some riding in even though I'm likewise concerned about the salt but most of my bikes...
I don't know about today but Sun, Mon and Tues are looking doable at this point. I've got 7 runners currently and I like to give them all a good workout when I can so I'm sure I'll get some riding in.
Spring will mean that it's my truck sitting getting dusty day after day!
I'm in the middle of the State and the weather can vary but my forecast is saying above 50 (which is my personal cutoff for choosing to ride) for the beginning of next week. I just wish there was a good rain to wash away the salt. I've learned the hard way that rust never sleeps!
Most of my bikes are carbureted so I have always tried to use ethanol free especially when it comes to overwintering. According to Ryan F9 it's not as much an issue with FI bikes:
