So What is Up with the CBRxx?

I had a 2005 XX for 12 months. Great bike. They are on special here in Oz. Indeed, my XX is still at the dealer, 11 months after trade in... No one wants it, and it is perfect condition... :( The special pricing on XX'ers has depressed the used market significantly.

Hello all I understand that the Australian and Euro FJR's do not need the "Barbarian jumper mod" to enable rider adjustment of the mixtures. A question for Aussie owners: Have you done the mod, and if so, what are your impressions? Thanks

    Big Sur and the PCH

Thanks - just curious - I currently ride a GSX-R 1000, and it is interesting to see a FJR with lowered bars...most FJR bar mods I have seen involve raising the bars... :)

Downshifting tips ?! ... and my FJR1300A '06 dies on me as I pace thru traffic on 1st/2nd

I'm sure you are not going to like what I have to say, but so be it. If the FJR is your first bike, you have made an expensive mistake. The weight and power of the bike makes it completely unsuitable for you. I'm not being offensive, but it is obvious from your post that you do not have the...

FJR 2006 side cases (& handlebar Vibration stuff !!)

+1 The FJR is a big, powerful, HEAVY bike....if it is your first bike, you WILL drop it. Strongly suggest you consider something smaller and cheaper to fix....

Throttle pull on new FJR - much improved?

Hello all I notice that Yamaha claims reduced throttle pull with the new model. Is the pull improved, or does it still benefit from the throttle spring mod? Thanks
