Parts For Sale SOLD: Garmin Zumo 550 cradle

My Zumo bit the dust and I just removed the cradle. Pictures in the link below (or PM me and I'll send them) Pics Not sure what it should cost, so shoot me an offer. If someone has a use for it that's better than it sitting in a cabinet in my garage.

    Getting back into bikes

I purchased an 07 new. Zero issues and 78000 miles. I've done the recalls, added the Spider harness, a few other odds and ends. Just had mine at the dealer to look at the valves. They haven't needed adjustment yet. It's a solid platform and there are riders on this forum who've put 100k miles...

I have to bow out of this. A family event popped up. I'll call the hotel to release the booked room on Monday.

Ray Slocomb, FjRay - Now on second honeymoon with Patti

I don't think I actually met Ray at any FO, but I saw him because that face is hard to miss. Great smile, always had a crowd of happy conversation near him. Lots of comments and wisdom (helpful or otherwise) was shared by that dude. RIP Ray I've never been to a RR, sadly. Haven't ridden much...

Shorai Li battery - does it change charging rates?

I've had the same Shorai since an episode of overheating in Sacramento maybe in 2018? Brodie was weary of them back then...Had Shorai not sent me a free exchange, I would have probably changed it out. I haven't ridden many times below 60 degrees but it doesn't seem to take any longer to fire up...

Interstate End To End Rides Part 2

On something he rides across the country, averaging 1,000 miles/day, that's not too bad

Interstate End To End Rides Part 2

you commented somewhere that i-5 would be a struggle.  construction and traffic and bears (probably). Spend some time on some curvy Oregon roads.

    Interstate End To End Rides

I'm not great with the maths, but that's a lot of per day miles!  Helluva ride! I wonder if traffic was worse because most of the country was cooped up last year and now all making up for that?
