Thanks! One last question. Did you tap into wires under the seat or up front where they come out of the handlebars?

I'm a total noob when it comes to wiring. I just received my Photon Blasters and am ready to install. Questions? Where do you tap into a "switched power source" and where is the best place to tap into the brake lights? If anyone has installed a set of these, any help would be appreciated.

From reading previous posts I have heard that there is an annual group buy on Russell seats. True? Can someone give me additional information. I think I'm about ready for a new seat.

You guys are awesome. I tried adjusting my bars a few weeks ago and gave up not wanting to "buger up" the soft metal and pins. I read the "rest of the story" regarding loosening BOTH bars at the same time, then moving them forward or back. This is most definitely the way to go with NO prying...

I am interested in adding a Vista Cruise Throttle Lock on my 2009 FJR. I notice some of you have posted that you installed the "Universal" model while others appear to use a model specific for Yamaha. As I looked at both today at the dealership, it appears there are a lot more parts involved...

I have had my new 09' for just one month and LOVE it. Certainly the best bike I have ever owned and I've had several. I haven't noticed any problem with the throttle and the bike runs beautifully. You're gonna' love it! lfw

Skyways and OES Sliders BOTH arrived in my mail today. While both appear to be quality products, I installed the Skyways.

After two weeks of trying, I finally got word from Ian at Skyway that he is sending along the sliders. While that's good news, I had already ordered a set from OES thinking that the Skyways were not coming. Looks like I'll have a set for sale when/if both set arrive. I guess it will be nice...

It's been almost two weeks since I ordered. Not a word from Skyway other than the original order confirmation. My numerous emails have not been answered. The phone number listed has been disconnected.

I ordered mine last week, and got an instant email confirmation. THEN, I read the negative reports on Skyway. I have tried via email and phone to get in touch with them. No dice. Can't get them to return my email and the phone no. listed is now disconnected. I'm not sure exactly what to do...
