I’ve just bought my first FJR1300, a blue 2002 with 60k miles on the clock. It was a very cheap, winter purchase and hopefully turns out to be a bargain. I’ve not had a chance to ride it properly yet, since riding it home last weekend, but I’m really looking forward to it. First impressions are excellent. I hope your all well and thanks for letting me join the group.

Beautiful, and that's the one that made me fall in love with these bikes, I can tell you what road I was on when I saw it, and said to myself....someday, I will have one of those!

That's a purty bike! Looks like someone removed the front turn signal stalks and installed flush mount signals. I like those hand guards. What brand/model are they?

Hi Chris, looks like you got a deal I'm sure you'll enjoy it, love the colour my 2007 is just a silver grey as it was the "AE" version with auto clutch. I used to live in Southport back many years ago, now in Canada. Last June I rode out west to Vancouver, it was about a 3,000 mile ride in terrible weather, rain storms just about ever day! Took me six days to get over, the FJ never skipped a beat even in all that rain, so should be great in your North West English climate. (just joking) Can't wait to get out again when our weather warms up

Welcome from Dallas TX and congrats on your new ride.
Hey, there are a couple of other FJR riders out in the mid cities. Want to join us for a breakfast ride some weekend? Maybe join a group down in the Hill country soon?
