Great deal.
Gen II doesn't tell you enough. 2006 and 2007 Gen II is the same as Gen I ABS but is different from anything 2008 or later.

I guess look at the ABS sensor to know the year or I'm sure it can be swapped out, I had bought it as a spare its just collecting dust

Interesting. I bought a 2008 wheel as a spare and the ABS is different from my 2004 Gen I ABS. The one you show is what I was looking for. It's a pity you are so far away as I would buy that wheel.

I have a Darkside car tire on my original wheel and the same on the spare (which doesn't fit).

If you can get a price to ship to Australia that's not too bad, I'll buy it.

BTW, the ABS sensors are completely different and I don't think you can swap them from early wheels to late wheels.

The toothed ABS sensor ring on the pictured wheel will work for the ABS equipped scooters from 2004 - 2007 (USA years). That toothed ring is a light press fit on the machined shoulder of the hub and is easily removed.

Starting in 2008 (USA years) the sensor ring changed to the smooth magnetic rings. The magnetic rings are attached with 3 screws into bosses on the wheel hub, which don't exist on the earlier wheels.

However, the later wheels also have the machined shoulder on the hub. The later magnetic rings can be removed from the later wheels and the toothed rings can be pressed onto that shoulder for use on the earlier scooters. That is "backwards compatible". I've done it myself.

The earlier wheels without the screw bosses for the magnetic rings are not forward compatible for the magnetic rings.

Occasionally, the toothed ABS sensor rings show up on E-Bay separately from the wheels.

Thankyou, that's really interesting. I'll take a look at my spare wheel. I ended up buying the later sensor ring but had issues of alignment with the different spacers. Blew a few $$.
