Just bought a 2004 fjr, currently also own a vstrom 1000. In my 55+ years of riding I have owned many motorcycle, most of them Yamahas . Two things that I haven't done yet is own a Harley or own a black motorcycle and at my age neither will probably happen. I currently live in south Mississippi and have a cabin in northwest Tennessee , the fjr will be used mostly to go back and forth. I am allowed to have 2 motorcycles because my wife was 2 a 650 Vstrom and a Honda trail 125. She probably rides more miles per year than I do. And now for a warning most people including my friends think I am a grouchy old fart who is sometimes full of sh*t.

Well, in Fjrforum they say that the Grouch's small heart grew three sizes that day. And then – the true meaning of riding came through, and the Grouch found the joy of ten Grouches, plus two!

(With my apologies to the good Doctor)
