Hi folks,
I've been a member of this forum since the early days. Even going back to the first FJR Forum in 2004. Not so much in recent years. My riding time has dwindled, and two years ago I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Now after 20 years and three FJR's it is with heavy heart, time for me to hang it up and say goodbye. I'm putting my ultra low mileage, 2014 FJR up for sale. It's in pretty much perfect condition with around 3900 miles on it. Probably not the appropriate spot to put this so I will just say I'm in Pittsburgh and if interested in more details pm me. Thanks for the ride my friends.

I'm so sorry for your diagnosis... getting old ain't no place for sissies, eh? Lots of folks are staring at that finish line due to a myriad of reasons. Just know that the friends you have made through riding will still be friends afterward... while the bike(s) bring us together, it's the friendships that keep us together. Wishing you happiness in whatever way you can find it.

So sorry to hear about this Mogambo. There are not a lot of us left that go back to 20 years ago when this all started. And those of us that are still here, are getting closer to that day when we ride no more.

Thanks skooter. Where did 20 years go? I always enjoyed reading your posts. To this day, I still wonder where you got the time to ride so darn much! Back inn the day.... there wasn't a day gone by without checking in on the FJR Forum. Those were good times. By the way....wtf did all these ads come from?

So sorry to hear about your difficulties. I have 2 uncles that have the same thing. Both of them have had to give up some of their passions (sports cars). Man, I would love to have your sweet bike!

Mogambo,
It is sad to hear about you having to stop riding. Offering up your bike on this forum will hopefully make things more positive knowing that it may go to someone who really appreciates the FJR.

I pm’d the originator of this thread requesting info on the bike and haven’t heard anything. Does anyone know if it’s already sold? 🤷🏼‍♂️
I haven't noticed any listing info for the bike. I'd imagine it was probably sold locally...
