Yes. "Torque Pro OBD 2 & Car". To get the functionality to reset codes and whatnot you have to pay for the subscription. If I recall correctly, the first level - which is only a few $$$.

Yeah, the codes are weird. The codes I get I can 'look up' via the Torque app and will give me some indication of what is going on. But for the full details of what exactly the code means it seems you need the proprietary Yamaha reader. Besides resetting codes, it also reset a recent Check...

I am fairly certain OBD connector started with Gen 4 2016 FJRs.

Only for Gen I. Gen II spring rates were a little bit better and Gen III+ are pretty darned good as far as I am concerned.
