I have 06 and the left fork tube had some oil on it. Does anyone know if the fork seals are covered on the YES extented warranty. The bike sat for 3 weeks and I noticed the shine off the fork when I rode today. 18,500 miles on the bike.

Well another AVCC gremlin got buried today. The fix worked great, did the switch and the blue wire.

I have an 06 and while working on the bike in the garage (I am not sure what I was working on some farkle) I stated the bike and it reved up to 8 or 9 thousand RPM I hit the kill switch and shut it down. I checked the throttle and all was good started it and it idled just like nothing happened...

I was there this week, Monday I think, I ride a blue 06. I was in the area Sat- Mon and then went to Jacksonville FLA for 2 days and then stayed in Clayton GA Thur Fri nites and road that entire area. Ride safe Scott

I plan to leave this Friday or Saturday for a week on the FJR. I plan to go to the Georgia Mountain Rally a BMW thing, in Hiawassee GA. Then were ever good weather and the twisties take me. Anyone looking to ride Monday- Friday it would be great to have someone show me your favorite roads...

Tour tank makes a 1 gal aux tank and you can get a nylon cover that you can strap down with your other gear. Here is the site if you want to take a look. I have not used the product but it looks like it may work rather well.clicky

I have a question for the 4 other NO's in this poll. Have any of you had the ECU replaced? I have not had mine replaced yet

06 Installed by Smitty (he has done everthing to try to remedy) because mine is one of the flaky ones works for a while in cool weather, the hotter it gets and the faster you ride the less it works.

Is there a vendor that sells the Vstrom hand guards with the proper bolts/washers ready to install on a 06 FJR. I did a search and could not find the information needed. Please feel free to lambaste me prior to providing the information. Thanks :unsure:
