Same with the Yamaha dealer in Columbia, SC. The first time I went there, I wanted brake pads. I saw a sign saying they did not service motorcycles over 10 years old. I left and ordered brake pads online. I wish that dealership success, but I will not be back for any reason.

I have to bail out.  I just moved and there wasn't room on the moving van for everything.  My wife wouldn't let me leave unimportant things like furniture behind, so my motorcycle is still in Illinois until I can retrieve it.  I hope everyone has a great time.

Can you check exhaust temperatures to see if one cylinder stops firing when the engine heats up?

Look up the Great River Road.  You might want to include some of it on your route.  I have ridden on stretches and there is a lot of scenic, easy-going riding.

I went to Yamaha website, did a comparison and found a big difference.  The Tracer has a castER angle of 25 degrees.  The FJR has a castOR angle of 26 degrees.  I hope this helps.
