I almost forgot this tidbit too, I changed my pre owned ‘16’s owner info in the Yamaha system. However, recall info, etc. comes to my email address now but is still addressed to the previous owner, so I could have tried to find him if I had wanted to. 40,000 happy miles later it doesn’t matter!

You can also run your VIN through Carfax or one of those type organizations and that should show you the paper trail of where and when it was registered. Sometimes it will note names but only rarely does that show. When you register it, the DMV or whatever agency handles that in your state, may...

The seats are interchangeable on the Gen. 2 and Gen. 3, years 2006-2024. I used the same Corbin on my ‘12 and it’s now on my ‘16.

Did you actually see coolant dripping from the leak or notice the level in the overflow tank was going down? I’ve noticed the smell of coolant a couple of times on my ‘16 and am planning to have a look this winter.
