Well a tad late.... I picked up a set of RGaza police styled bars. Instructions are uh, well vague. Got them off E-bay from a US seller. Have a set of T-Rrex bars for the rear which came them. Both are solid sets. The advantage of the T-Rex bars is the addition of an expendable/replaceable...

Guess I'd just have to bite the maintenance cost bullet and go with BMW R1250RT...

I've figured out the riser is an MCL. Anyone have any idea what size Ram ball would fit one of the two threaded holes near the base of the bars?

Yes, according to Yamaha those are all good. Same for the CCT. An ECU re-flash is on the to do list. I have friends who have had there bikes done and they highly recommend it.

One very loved and well kept FJR...the previous owner was nice enough to update all the lighting to LEDs, replaced the stock horn, new wind screen and kept detailed maintenance records. Now if it would just stop raining........

Well, I just picked up a new to me 2007 FJR. I got spoiled when I had borrowed a friends BMW R1200 recently and found my little Vulcan 750 needed an upgrade. Looking forward to many miles of fun running up and down the east coast.
