Firstgear Men's Black Leather "Baron" Adventure Jacket XL

When I was in college back in the 80s, I fell in love with a leather, adventure-style motorcycle jacket—the Hein Gericke Paris Dakar. But back then, I couldn’t afford it! The years went by, and when I got my Yamaha FJR 1300, I began looking for the Dakar. Alas, it was no more, but I found this...

Firstgear Baron 3/4 length Black Leather Jacket

I'd say it would. At 6'1" and 185, the XL was always a little big on me.

Bump--I still have this, and the XL is for sale, too! Buy the set, and I'll take $450 for both ( plus shipping), or $250 each.

Registered on ADVRider & PM'd the coordinator for this one! 8 years on the stock seat is enough (ok, the AirHawk cushion made it manageable until now)

Which Nolan Silver Helmet Matches My '04 Cerulean?

Yeah, I'll probably stick with the colorless white helmet--I like the visibility, and it doesn't conflict with any other color bike I might get the chance to ride (not that I ever do!) Plus, my passenger's white Symax is in great shape, no use replacing it, too. Thanks for the comments!

Which Nolan Silver Helmet Matches My '04 Cerulean?

My old HJC Symax finally broke (5 yrs/30k miles), I'm thinking about replacing it with a Nolan N103. Have any of you color-matched the helmet to your bike? Lava Grey & Arctic Grey look close, but I can't find a dealer nearby to try to match it. Vince

    Base Stickers?

Mine is on the lower left fork tube--had to trim it down slightly to fit, but I find that is where the security guards tend to look for them (at least on Navy bases).

How old are you FJR riders?

43, and have the wife or a kid on the back about 10% of my riding (I mostly commute).

    Dallas, TX, Rockwall Yamaha

They just did my throttle position sensor recall work, and safety inspection. First rate service, at least based on this one visit. Also, they have "employee pricing" on their tires, I got new Avon Storms at a pretty good deal (frt $108, rear $146) Vince

    www.newenough.com

Agreed-NewEnough has great selection & customer service--and great closeouts (sometimes). Only bad thing is I moved to Texas, so now I have to pay sales tax! Fantastic source for great gear.

    Freaking Hot

I guess I'll quit whining about riding in this Dallas heat--cool compared to NV!
