    Gen 1 battery removal.

    After 8 years & 2 months, the battery in my 2001 FJR has quit - refusing to start on a 4'C morning. Hence my question - I know that the two inner panels come off, but does any other body work have to be removed to allow the battery holder to be accessed ? MTIA.
