I learned a long time ago for very slow speed maneuvering ,to ride the rear brake and keep the drive train loaded, modulate the rear brake to control movements.

Our Canadian FJR's have that STUPID Immobilizer system, don't loose that red key !!

My 06 Gen 2 has been a fantastic bike,60K miles so far, my chums 05 is a nut roaster and needed a new head,a number of 05's had a valve guide issue requiring cyl head replacement. I highly recommend a Gen 2

Other than the ignition sx recall, the dealer has never seen my 06 FJR ,!
