In July I lost my beautiful 2007 Triumph Bonneville. While I still had my FJR I couldn't envision myself not owning a Triumph. I finally brought one home yesterday I decided to downsize since in 4 years of ownership I had only put 7000 miles on my FJR. So I traded her in. It was a great bike...

I recently got PR2's and I can't believe the difference in the way the bike handles. The stock tires must have been truck tires.

A few months ago I got a new pair of Michelin PR2's. The shop set the air pressure in both tires at 35 psi. I can't find anywhere what is Michelins recommended pressure. The tires ride great,much better than the stock ones. Any suggestions? What do you run your Pilots on?

I finally bought a new helmet(Shoei Qwest) but now I'm unsure what to do with the old one. I've had it for about 7 years. Should I chuck it? Or keep it for a rainy day?

Right now I'm running Amsoil. On my next change I might try Motul. I run that in my Triumph and really like it.

Today while at the dealership (new tires) I was perusing the yamaha accessory catalogue and noticed they have a bigger windshield for the FJR. Anybody here ever have one? And if so, what did you think?

Got a new set of Michelin PT3's today. Quite a difference from the stock Brigestones. Is there a break-in period for new tires?

I have a slow leak in my front tire. I've decided to go agead and get new tires. But since this is my firast sport tourer I'm not sure what to get. I'll probably get them at a local Cycle Gear store as the dealer is too expensive. Suggestions?

Found a new pair of boots for riding. They come with or without steel toes. Any suggestions/experiences with steel? Are they better protection in an accident?

It's time for me to get a new helmet. I've always liked Shoei and want to stick with them. I'm considering a QWEST. Anyone have one? What do you like/dislike about it? I've had a Shoei modular for several years now and I like it except it's really noisy. :)

Today I was trying to remove my bikes battry. The bolt holding the clamp together won't budge. Not even one tiny bit. There is no rust or corrosion in the area.. Any ideas? :blink:
