Do you think I need a new tire yet?

You don't think....nah. Maybe. Did he use a belt sander to try to get rid of his chicken strips to look cool, and wasn't able to control it?

Do you think I need a new tire yet?

He is riding it home after buying it from a craigslist ad that stated "Mint condition. Ready to ride, needs nothing."

Truck tires on the front of a motorcycle, making darksiders look like a big bunch of sissies.

Indeed, I'll continue using them on the FJR as long as they'll keep selling them to me. The Supermoto is another story though.

Split: Yet More Off-Topic About Tires

Well, it works well for spirited riding, but if I lived somewhere in the mountains with a sporty bike, the PR2 wouldn't be my tire of choice. But on the FJR here in the flatlands, it's like the best darn tire you can find. That's kind of where I was going with that. I have hit the track on other...

WTF? Must be nice to have a decent inseam. I've managed to figure out how to get the bike backwards while on it, but it usually involves a bit of leaning and pushing with just one leg. Once you master walking next to it, it's not too bad. Bad stuff still happens.

    Plastic Fastener Replacement

Good thread. I think I only have three of them on my bike. Need replacements. Side note, threadjack. I went to order a replacement radiator fan from Amazon. Amazon recommended I buy replacement plastic push rivets, similar to these but bigger. I was like "Screw that!" I went out to put the fan...

News Story: Biker who sank on Canyon Ferry ID'd

Something seen in that video that I bet wasn't present in the OP's linked attempt. Preparation and safety teams. "Hey guys, hold my beer and watch this" does not count for either. :D

What is your minimum size bike?

For the street? 434cc is my current minimum.

I always called it "The point of no return" but from hence forth it shall be called "The Event Horizon." I like it.

I'm nowhere near a coast, what's a slope? Is that like a speed bump or a wheelchair ramp? I don't park my bike near those things.

    Securing a pistol

AJ, I wasn't directing that at you, and I understand. But I have heard the argument from the anti gun side argue against open carry of "Why do I have to have this guy with his gun hanging out sitting at a table near my family wondering if he's going to start shooting?" I fail to see the logic...

Taller tire and good suspension also make it MUCH easier. For me taller means a new tire that hasn't been worn down in the center. I always freak myself out the first time I put the FJR on the centerstand after a tire change.
