That danged guy sure gets around. I had a sighting this morning here on the Central Coast when he came by to visit and have breakfast with my busted up tired-ass self!
It's great to see Sam back in the seat!
Thanks, Tyler! PM sent.
I figgered April is sketchy weatherwise just about anywhere. We may do something more "in state" during that week long break she has and reserve the Canyon trip where time is no issue.
Damn, hoping Scully makes a full recovery. I feel your pain. When my cats or dog get sick, I get sick. I hate seeing them suffer. I'm having an issue with my Wallace Cat. He's dealing with Idiopathic Cystitis which is also a urinary issue that, according to my Vet hat we visited yesterday...
I haven't been near these places since I was a kid and I know I'm gonna regret not having gone there sooner. My wife and I want to do a ride from here on the Central Coast of CA and loop through all those awesome sights. Initially I'm thinking Mesquite for our first stop then set out to the...
Didn't read all 40 pages but I did search the thread and the subject didn't come up but it's looking like the California Highway Patrol may be sporting the new FJR since the Kawi Concourse is now officially a dead dog as an LEO Motor platform. The buzz is they're in, they're just waiting on...
Sam, were you in a heavy canopy of trees. I think we SPOT holders have all heard the issues with this scenario.
I use my SPOT a lot on my ocean-going offshore tuna trips and always compare my marks to my 3 redundant GPS Systems I have on the boat. It's always spot on, no pun intended. I have...
Just WOW, Sam! Wish there was something I could do for you from down here! If there is, just holler! So glad you're alright, at least alright enough to be responding on a forum.
Welcome to the Deer Strike club.
There will be a lot to learn about this as you get up and around and are willing...
After watching him Ghost-ride that weak Duc at the top of the 'screw, I'd say he was done with Team Duc!
Like him or not, Rossi gets it done. His equipment at Ducati was making it impossible. That's gonna be a lonely spot for Dovi to occupy next season because Duc can't siphon off any...
I would LOVE it!
Going to be doing my checks right after my MotoGP Laguna Seca trip. Gotta get busy and get a valve cover gasket on the way, too.
Thanks!
That Yellow Thing is the shizzle! I just put my first set of 023GT's on my FJR last week. I've been mounting the PR2's on the FJR as well as others for friends, using my Harbor Freight unit and Parnes balancer. I COULD NOT get the 023GT on the rim and I fussed it with for a long time. Ended up...
If your in need of recommendations on the roads not to be missed while here, hit me up. You may know them, maybe not, but we have a lot of great routes. 58, 229, Old Creek, Vineyard, Chimney Rock, and on and on.
Just came off that stretch of 49 last Saturday coming back from visiting my Labrador that's in training up in Valley Springs.
Now you're headed onto my turf this Sunday. I'll have to keep an eye out for another '05 if I'm out on the road! ;)
Up for grabs, the Kouba lowering links I just pulled off my '05 FJR. Great shape, little bit of pitting from road grunge on end.
$50 including shipping. PayPal "Gift" preferred. Other arrangements okay, too if need be.
I had one and used it for about a year on another bike. It was big and the features were handy at times but I found myself seldom using the helmet holder feature nor the back straps. Given it has no internal framework or support, unless you pack it full of stuff...which requires a lot of stuff...
