You guys are freakin' awesome. It's running like a top now. I charged the battery a while and the fault code went away (that was obviously an artifact of a marginal battery). Then after four or five sessions of cranking with the throttle wide open, it finally coughed and started. I let it run up...

Well, it cranks fine and it exhibits no sign of a low battery, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to top it off. I did do a few minutes of testing with the headlight and grips on with the engine off, but have cranked it a number of times since. I'll put the charger on it just to be sure. Thanks.

05 ABS. I just installed some heated grips, and now have a non-starting bike. I had checked my grip wiring and everything was fine (grips working and bike running), and then I started dressing and cable-tieing my wires. When that was done, I tried to start the bike and that's when the problem...

Add me to the list of happy Rick Mayer customers. Got my saddle on Friday, put about four hours on it today, and what a difference! No more tailbone hot spot. My buddy, also with an 05, likes it so much he's already placed an order for one of his own.

I recently installed the GIVI light kit and am mostly pleased with it. The installation is a little more tedious than it needs to be, but I am quite a ham-fisted mechanic and I managed OK; so I don't think most folks will have too much trouble. The lights look good at night, but are pretty dim...
