    sold

Sold This is the clear medium CalSci for Gen2 bikes. Its about 2 taller and a little wider than stock. I used it for about a year, so it has some light scratches and bug goo still on it, but its in pretty good shap. Comes with the cloth shipping cover seen in the photo. $50 shipped to the lower 48.

    Vintage motorcycle collection damaged

Eureka, KS Heartbreaking. First bike I noticed was a CT3 just like mine. https://www.kwch.com/content/news/About--385999691.html

right saddlebag in good condition - found

A friend of mine backed into my bike at work this week and knocked it over. He crunched the right bag, breaking the cover and rear mount. I have a trip planned on my bike leaving March 14, and I really need a replacement by then. Scratches are ok, as long as all the mounts are sound and the...

Crazy Canadians just can't wait for the snow to fly.

https://toronto.ctvnews.ca/video?clipId=703071 I'd like to do this to my neighbor.

Had to keep my coffee warm

I get involved in doing something on the bike and tend to forget all about the fresh cup of coffee I just made. A quick rummage through my parts drawer turned up a piece of inconel from my aircraft mechanic days. Problem solved...at least until it warms up outside. It works pretty well...

    Aux fuel cell - Found!

I'm looking to increase my range for some plans I have to go "out west" this year. I've been eyeballing the Jaz 4 gallon tank and I'm pretty sure I can come up with a mount and plumbing easy enough, but I figured I'd try here first to see if anyone wants to sell me their rig.

    Joe2Lmaker

"Last active July 27, 2012". Anybody hear from him since? I know he sold his FJR, but it's a shame to lose somebody with so much talent from the forum. I like the work he did on the Tag-Along-Tank.

    Found, thanks.

Long shot, but if anybody has a good, serviceable (not warped or worn beyond limits) rear brake disc, I need one to put on a spare wheel I just acquired. Thanks.

Wanted - rear wheel- update, found one

Looking for a late Gen II (2008-on) rear wheel. I prefer a 2009, so I don't have to get it painted black. Found an '08 wheel on fleabay, thanks.

    Need help getting these out

I need to get these dowels out so I can remove my rocker shafts. The manual says to just grab them with pliers and pull...nope, they're pretty stuck. I fabricated a slide hammer for my vice grips, still can't get them to budge. The dowels must be tool steel, the vice grips aren't even gouging...

    Hang your hard bags

I only seem to use my side cases for traveling as my top case is better suited for daily commuting, so I needed a place to store them where they wouldn't get damaged. Also, my garage is a bit tight and it's nice to not have them on the bike getting rubbed against daily. I found a piece of...

    2015 Yamaha kick-start only bike

https://www.yamahamotorsports.com/sport/products/modelhome/691/home.aspx Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I really like having to work a bit to get a machine running. Be it some of the tow planes I used to fly that had to be hand propped (getting the right combination of priming, throttle...

55k and looking at a complete suspension upgrade

Betty has 55k+ on her now and this last EOM trip has emphasized the need to upgrade the suspension, front and rear. I've never been happy with the forks and the rear now has a very vague feeling to it. I've been doing some research using the site:fjrforum method, but the amount of threads is a...

    Spot 3

Anybody seen this yet? I got this in an email, but can't seem to find any info on the Spot website. Looks better than the Spot 2 to me. https://www.pilotshop.com/spot-satellite-gps-messenger-p-12914.html

    Toledo-Maggie Valley-Savannah

Leaving Saturday morning for Maggie Valley, then making my way to Savannah on Sunday for one of my annual training events. If anyone wants to meet up for lunch/dinner anywhere along the way, I'm game. I know it's late notice, but that's the way my job works. Post here or PM me.

Steering head bearing socket - taken

These are all spoken for. Thanks for helping our FJR brothers and sisters by hosting tech days guys! I debated long and hard on the best way to gift these...ok, maybe I didn't think about it that long. I saw a post about a guy in the UK selling these on eBay and ordered a few. I figured if...

    Blue Mountains of Australia

Riding the Blue Mountains of Australia Early this year a week long trip to Australia came in to our office, but this one was different. We are often "on the road" anywhere from one to three weeks at a time and its common to not stay in any city longer than a day, sometimes only a few hours per...

    Australia motorcycle rental

I'm going to have four full days in Sydney next month and was considering renting a bike for a day. I'm looking for tips, suggestions of places to go, reputable rental companies and any first hand knowledge from somebody that has done this before. I wish I had more than a day to ride, but I...

    Clearwaterlights.com, Clearwater Lights

I purchased a set of Glenda lights back in 2011 and mounted them low on my forks with their supplied mounts. The installation was easy and the lights have worked flawlessly ever since. The only (minor) issue that I had with them is that the front black aluminum bezels have faded to a gold color...

    Admore lights on Givi E52

Admore lights installation has been covered on here before, so I'll focus mainly on the things I did differently or that need extra emphasis. Following a suggestion I found on the forum, I peeled off the white tape behind the lenses and replaced it with 3m reflective tape. Before sticking...
