    Low RPM Misfire/Hesitation

I don't log in regularly, but do stop by on occasion. I was very surprised to see this thread resurrected! I doubt I still have the screen shots from the TPS signal, so I can't post them here, but there were momentary spikes above and below the signal voltage. I went to great lengths to...

I'd love one of those. Not that one though. Joe

How to help a drunk driver. (And the rest of us.)

Did exactly that to a snowmobiler once. He swerved to my side of the trail, I evaded to the right, and we still swiped sleds. He fell off his sled and was laying in the middle of the trail shaking violently. I rushed back to him thinking he was having a heart attack, or a seizure. It was...

    Spark plug voltage

I am taking your advice! -_-

    Spark plug voltage

It shouldn't make much difference if a platinum plug is firing from center to side, or vice versa. Both the center and side electrode have a small pad coated with platinum that keep them from eroding for a long time. That is, unless you gap them with a metal gapper and scrape the platinum off...

Sorry but, this strikes a chord with me...

I love it! My job is 100% travel. As you roll up and down the east coast, you only have to drive 200 miles or so to hear the accent change a little, see the people change a little, and the food change a little... Joe

    Front end wobble

In my experience, every time my bike had a wobble with no hands on the bars, a new tire fixed it.

Thanks for coming Concourier. I was glad to have everyone over. If you get a chance, feel free to post some of the pics you took while you were there. I didn't take any myself. I'd gladly host another Tech Day. They're not too hard to put together. Maybe I could even buy a coffee pot and...

You are welcome to bring whatever you'd like. No problem at all. My wife had a change of plans, and will be home now. That's good news for us, because I'm a terrible host...and we'll eat WAY better with her home. :) Joe

We should be OK. I don't think there will be too many people wrenching. This Tech Day may be more social than anything. I have a newly acquired VW to mess with, and I think a friend of mine is stopping over with a transmission he is getting started on. Joe

I got a few power outlets installed today, added another fluorescent light, cleaned the parts washer and added 40 gallons of fresh solvent. Unfortunately the driveway to the garage won't be finished by next week, but I don't think it will kill anyone to drive on a little grass to get inside. Joe
