    Yamaha warrantied it and gave me a brand new trunk. I am selling the brand new trunk. No damage what so ever except for dusty from no use. I'll clean the dust off before shipping.

    Living in Vegas, I know what you mean about heat. (But its a dry heat) I use a cool vest under my mesh firstgear jacket. The firstgear flows air much better than my Astar.
