The shock I bought off eBay was originally sold by Traxxion and came with all the original paperwork and instructions which was nice. Penske had me fill out a form to package with the shock when I sent it in for rebuild. Questionaire about rider weight, passenger weight, how much luggage etc...

You can also send the shock right to Penske for rebuild. Since I'm in PA and so is Penske I went that route. I bought a used one off eBay in 21 and at that time Penske was charging $185 for rebuild.

I've always felt Yamaha missed the boat with only offering one color like that. I first test rode a FJR back in 2009 and while I loved the bike I won't own a black vehicle. Nothing wrong with the I just know I'd never keep it clean enough.

I use a Givi 56l top box and have the Givi rack on top of it but rarely use the rack. On the few times I have used it the only things I put there are very lightweight items such as our rain gear and extra gloves or some lightweight clothing. I always carry a dry bag and rok straps in the top box...

Set of saddlebag liners in very good / near excellent condition. No shoulder straps. These came with the 2013 FJR I bought in late November and I already had an extra set from my 2007 that was wrecked. All zippers work well and zipper pulls are in good shape. Shoulder straps were not with them...

I met a rider at one of the first Void Rallies I rode in who had done something like this to his FJR in case of needing a jump start...

I've mounted mine under the pillion seat. Main reason for this even beyond the space issue being that I only need to pull the pillion seat should I blow a fuse. No point in making it harder to access than necessary.
