    2006 FJR 1300A nicely farkled, 22k miles, a beauty at $6900

He's a really good guy and fresh off an AE. He just had the need for a clutch and we happened to live in the same area. Life is interesting like that.

Several tire kickers, but no sale. Forgot to mention it has a Cee Bailey +2+2 with a flip and I've got the original factory screen. Plus a couple of Ram Mounts. Is it too cold? Come on spring!

Just to be clear, the bike is still on the market...it's January you know. If things change I'll be sure to say so. The bike is sleeping comfortably in my garage right now.

I'm just keeping her warm and toasty in the garage. Memphis is easy to get to, she has some other family to keep her company till spring!

PDX, isn't that Portland??? I have a meeting in Portland in mid February. Probably not a good time to ride from MEM to PDX.

Yep, put it out there just recently. I know its a silly time of year to be selling a bike, but hey, it's not getting riden right now!

Its time to part with my beautiful Cobalt blue Yamaha FJR 1300A with ABS brakes, 22k miles, factory top case and passenger pad, 1" bar risers, Breakaway throttle lock, G2 throttle tube, reflective Tuning Fork rear pannier panels, hiway pegs, Skyway billet sliders, European graphics, 230 gram SS...

    grip puppies

Agreed, remove the TM then use soapy water or hairspray and tug them on. If air is available, that works great but not necessary. But don't hold back on the liquids, they dry nicely and some add sticky. I've had had 4 sets so far, they are great.

    Gerbing Heated Gloves

Ordered my Gerbring Microwire jacket before C-mas and it came in this week. Tried it out with a "new to me" set of gloves and jacket with a dual controller. They are fantastic! The microwire jacket liner was warm all over, very linear application of heat on the controls. I had them both on a...

so not SICK of this bike!

This bike sucks...all of the evil out of my work day when I get on it to ride home. This bike sucks...for the unsuspecting young cage drivers that think a bike with a top case must be a slug, and this bike sucks the most when my cruiser friends (I used to have one so I can say this) realize...

    Condensation in Lenses

That seems WAY to logical, but a great idea.

    ABS question

Yeah, what he said, that's terribly important to me.

What signs show when throttle bodies out of sync

Not being a smart ass, why keep doing it? I'm all about owner maintenance and I've yet to hear anyone give a compelling reason to do this one. Thanks for replies.

    Handle Bar Adjustment

Easy move. Great directions here. Be sure to get a towel or blanket to protect your tank. Its one of those high payoff jobs that you'll be glad you did. Bob

    Pain between the shoulder blades/neck

I've got the risers and have the bars back all the way. At 5'8" and a 30" inseam I don't have a lot of room for movement. The risers and being conscious of the Yoda postion were central to me logging 3800 miles in June in 10 days. My biggest pain was bad knees (I'm 52 and rode dirt bikes till...

    Blueridge Parkway to the Dragon

Squid, (and that is not meant in a negative manner as one of my co-workers is a retired Pacific Fleet Master Chief!) The short answer is, there is no way to make the I-40 monotony any better than it is, I hope you have a throttle lock. As a wise man once said, "You can't make chicken salad out...

I finally broke into the 10's! (in the 1/4 mile)

We have a great drag strip here in the Memphis area and I really want to experience 1/4 mile WFO throttle without worrying about LEO's. Need to make that happen. You've inspired me, great videos. Bob
