Need Denver Shop to replace my Fork Seals

Aren't there some special tools required? I thought that was the case but will have to check my shop manual when I get home.

Need Denver Shop to replace my Fork Seals

@Rocnsanman - No Loveland is to far for quality honest service. Especially since I'll just pull the forks myself. RE: Seal Mate - I have one of those but I've experienced mixed results when I use. Honestly I haven't tried it on this recent issue but will.

Need Denver Shop to replace my Fork Seals

Hi you all, I'm looking for a Denver area shop to replace the seals on front forks. Anyone have a recommendation. My preference is a race shop or tunning shop rather than a dealer but I'll take recommends for either. Thanks

    lock set

I experienced the same issue with my 2006 100k+ miles of turning the key on/off. I tried cleaning the cylinder but it eventually got bad enough I was starting to not trust it for long trips. I found someone parting out their bike and grabbed their key set. Good luck!

New to me ST or new FJR?

I've owned both in the 2006 trim. I started with the ST1300 and sold it to buy the FJR1300. These bikes are both comprises between sport and touring as we all know. I would classify the ST as 60% touring (40% sport) and the FJR as 60% sport (40% touring), so it depends what is more important to...

Back into the Fishing Game, but clueless on the Utah Scene

So work has taken me to Utah and I want to get back into the fishing game. I've done a little fly fishing the last few years so I think I've got that part covered, but I want to kit up for fishing the reservoirs. To that end I have two questions: Do you recommend any fishing forums? If your...

    Utah Valley Living

@Spud, Thanks for the "point of the mountain" tip. In my early research I was looking at that Lehi and American Fork area. Just because it was near the lake and Google Maps shows a few "bar & grill" in the area! If this move gets momentum I'll have to recon that area. Thanks for the general...

    Utah Valley Living

I'm not a Starbucks fan, I'd rather go to a locally run coffee shop if I can; but they have decent coffee and it looks like they have stores every 3-5 miles all through the valley. Anyone have the scoop on areas like South Salk Lake, Jordan, Sandy, American Fork, Saratoga Springs, Orem?

Fellow FJR'ers, I'm in the early stages of a possible 2-3 yr. relocation for work into the Utah valley area. "Silicon Slopes" here I come ... maybe. Anyway, I'm looking for local knowledge about neighborhoods in the area, for a married couple, no kids, that like to enjoy our adult beverages...
