Good call, but sadly, mine is right side up. I'm still looking for a RAM plate with ball that will work. The only one I've found so far had the super large ball on it. :(

The shelf's are cool, but I use 2 different windscreens, and they come down to low to make a shelf posable. Also, I think its clear, but just to make sure, the V1 is not interfearing with my GPS, the RAM mount Magnet for the V1 is whats causing the problems.

I have the same setup as above minus the velcro and my SPIII is in between my bars on a stem stand, not a RAM mount. There might be 2 things that are helping cause my problem. One is the older SPIII GPS, it might have less sheilding and stuff then a new GPS? Also, the stem stand is all metal...

I'm not sure what you mean here? The V1 has a rear facing detector, and I think the X50 does too. The V1 also has arrow indecators so you know where the signal is coming from. If you just talking about pacing, then a detector wont help, but thats where your other skills come into play. You...

Acutaly, its much more of a rarity to see a cop being very selective when running a trap, at least not to the point that someone with a V1 or Escort X50 isn't going to see 2+ miles out. Of course the amount of traffic on the road is going to make a difference, but thats where common sence comes...
