    Anyone use tank bags?

Yep - for many years now I've been using a Cortech Super 2.0 tank bag, with magnets and a simple webbed strap wrapped around the steering head for stability. https://fortnine.ca/en/cortech-super-2-0-10-liter-tank-bag

    Going to See the Eclipse?

Back in August 2017, the band of totality for that eclipse event passed about a thousand miles south of where me and my riding buddies live in Central Alberta. Here are a couple pics we took at about high noon in the hamlet of Lowman, ID that day. Of course we brought proper eye protection with...

    Sold Laam Seat for sale

Hi Gmanhawaii. I have a 2013 (Gen3), and wonder if this seat is expected to fit both Gen4 and Gen3 FJRs? Also, are you able to share a little more detail about the operator seat's foam density? I weigh in at 225 lbs; did you receive any details about the Laam seat build when you bought your...

What did you do to your FJR today?

Gave my Gen 3 a visual inspection, then added stabilizer to a full tank, ran it a few minutes to get it into the injectors. Then I gave her a nice synthetic Rotella T6 5w-40 transfusion + new filter. Tucked her into the side bay of my garage with the battery tender plugged in, and kissed her...

    Oil change; should I, or should've I?

IMHO, I think you shouldn't be concerned - you've not added a high mileage to that fresh oil.

TIRES?? What tires are everyone running on their FJR?

I also use a set of T connector valve stems on my Gen3, and thus never have to actually mess with my lock-nutted TPMS sensors on the one input. It's a sweet set up - and I've been using a similar approach on both a Gen1 and now this Gen3 - cumulatively for about 8 years now with no regrets.

    jumping batteries

On both my Gen1 and now my Gen3, I've handcrafted a set of AWG 8 guage custom booster cables, using a set of polarized break-away connectors. This allows me to use either: a high current battery pack I carry in my luggage (designed for this purpose, capable of ~60 amps @ 12v I think) OR a...

FMJForum Decals - Show Them Off!

Hey Cycle, I think I am still unclear about how we actually get our sweaty little hands on these new decals (?). Will they be snail-mailed out to registered forum users?
