An MCU is $1,400 and I don't relish buying one to find it is not the problem. Hard to find experience with YCCS models. Used MCU are a rare find. Any brilliance out there would be appreciated.

Diag. tells me my MCU may be faulty, after a drop on my shop floor. New are outta mind so I'll try used if available.

Wondering if Yamaha intends for the tank to collapse in an inverted v when slammed by precious parts (pelvis)? Seems a perfect ...pouch for the parts even if only there for a millisecond. Came to abrupt stop, well, my 06 did, stayed there stuck in the side of a well kept sedan. I continued on...
