    No need to remove the tank, you just need to remove the 2 front bolts and tilt it backwards. As far as wiring: there are only 2 connectors under the tank to disconnect.     The 600 mile service also calls for throttle body sync. Easy DIY, I spent $100 on the tool and it took me less than 30 minutes in total.
