    IronRod

One of my favorite photos from one of my favorite rides. Late January weather was so-so but okay as I left Beaverton, OR, turned to 30s and snow as I left I-5 and headed to the mountain. But once I got above 3,500 feet, it was beautiful: clear, sunny, temps in the mid 50s. Complete surprise...

    Spokane, WA area service

I moved to near Diamond Lake, WA (USA, Zip 99156, North of Spokane) and wonder if anyone has recommendations for a reputable mechanic for servicing my 2012 FJR.  I do the general maintenance myself (oil, lube, tires, brakes, etc.) but often prefer to let someone else dig in to do more involved...

    Headlight bulb replacement

Very helpful, post; thanks. I did find that on my 2012/Gen II, it was worth pulling panel A (battery cover) as it is a few seconds to remove and makes reinstalling the boot much simpler on the right side. Otherwise, I totally concur. This is a much simpler job than trying to replace them on...

    Wrecked the '15 already

Wow, so sorry to read this. I just bought a 2012 last weekend (near-new, 4K miles) and I don't want to even think about the first scratch. But they all come. Heal and get back on. Yeah, it sucks. Post your updates on the your and the bikes repair.

    Headlight Modulator

I've had one on my 2004 Mean Streak for 10 years. (It's on the list for my 2012 FJR I just purchased.) Still using the same headlight bulb; never replaced it. As indicated, mine also is switchable by turning on the brights during the day. I don't keep mine on all the time and turn it off...
