    Speedo Healer or Something Similar

My local speed limit is always whatever is in front of me. Very accurate.

New Owner - Wild first ride!

I like the smooth profile that your newly-modified wheel presents. I've always been of the opinion that valve stems on motorcycle wheels are unsightly and unnecessary.

    Bought a Penske Rear Shock

    Careful, Greg. that's a very gender-specific question.

    Going to See the Eclipse?

I had a group of 15 in Duncanville, TX, ranging in age from seven to seventy nine. The sky was cloudy in the morning, then switched to partly cloudy as the moon encroached on the disc of the sun providing frequent visibility. About 40 seconds before totality a large cloud slid over the sun...

    Oil Leak happening right now…

This is an excellent point. I thought, however, that outies start to leak immediately after installing them.

    Oil Leak happening right now…

That hose is the radiator overflow line. Oil is not coming out of it, it's dripping off of it. I wonder if it's coming from the oil filter or oil filter gasket. I try my best to keep oil off that line and the little sponge when I replace the oil filter but never seem to succeed. See that the oil...

Mixing Michelin Road 6 GT and 4 GT?

I mix tires as well. I always put on a front tire that is smaller than the rear.

    Solar eclipse route registry

Earl- I have a big crowd of family and friends staying in a house in the Dallas area. I'm thinking 18 people will be there. I'm not riding, though. If you want another 30 seconds of totality you can ride another 90 miles to Ennis or 55 miles to Gatesville which are both right on the eclipse...

Gen 3 , have to hit the starter button two or three times before bike starts. Use to start first click every time.?

Is the engine turning over every time you press the start button or is it dead until you press the button a couple of times?

    New to FJR-On to Newfoundland

Don't miss the Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia. There is an enormous tidal swing daily but try to time it for one of the biggest ones.

    What are buttons for?

    That's your "pedant-o-meter," Scoot.

    What are buttons for?

Bad angle on the handlebars. The heated grip control would be under the clutch reservoir on the left in your photo so just out of view. It looks like there is a square cutout on that panel but I can't tell for sure. The heated grip control would be a knob on that square cutout.

    What are buttons for?

No dumb questions here. I have a 2008 and it has factory heated grips. Cruise control was not factory that year.

    What are buttons for?

Isn't that the starter button you're pointing at? It is in the US.

    Anyone use tank bags?

I just put stuff straight into the tank with a string tied to it. Then I pull it out when I need it.

BrakeAway Throttle lock and heated grips??

The OP is the Original Poster, the guy who started the thread. He started it 8 months ago and never responded. We don't know if he ever followed up on this.

BrakeAway Throttle lock and heated grips??

Nothing from the OP in 8 months. I wonder if he did anything.

    Going to See the Eclipse?

SacramentoMike said: "All you need to do is google "2024 eclipse" and dozens of hits will show you the whole path, starting from Mexico, then curving from Texas to Buffalo, eastern Canada and out to sea. April 8, 2024." Here is a link to an interactive eclipse map. I'm going to a big AirBnB...

    Won't start in gear

I suppose the ultimate solution would be to just buy a new motorcycle.
