    Need Pennsylvania trip advise

Hey BkerChuck, I've been through the Canyon twice. Once on a Triumph Trophy and the other a KLR650. Had a blast on both. I remember Wellsboro and that perfect Main St. with the Inn's and shops. Thank-you for the reminder. Since I started this journey I've extended my trip down into West Virginia...

    Still alive

Please tell my wife I know something....! There are two types of 100#ers, one can be filled by a Bobtail (propane truck), and the other needs to be brought to the filling station. The difference is easily recognizable as one looks like a barb-e-que grill fitting and the other has a yellow cap...

    Still alive

100 lb tanks are not good for generators as most generators burn more than a gallon of product per hour. Some over four gallons. A 100 lb tank has about 24 gallons at full. The snowmen (pigs) as we call them in Maine, are 120 gallons but only fill to 100 gallons due to the expansion/contraction...

New to forum from Newfoundland, Canada

I know I am coming into this a bit late, but welcome from Maine. My grandparents were from the Rock. Grandpa (from Wesleyville 1889) was a constable in Petty Harbor and then a cop in St. John's just before he sailed to New Bedford, Mass. Grandma was from Lower Island Cove. Man I miss their...

    Maine - Nova Scotia Ferry

Bummer for the flat-landers. Many ride the ferry for a little gambling a lot of Nova Scotia. I've enjoyed watching the ferry come and go in Bar Harbor and Portland.

I'm on it. I've sent the link to my buddy who is riding out to join me. Looks like we are going to spend a couple days in PA. He has already downloaded the NER GPX's to his Garmin program. I will put them into Guru Maps Pro and we should have a blast. Can't thank you guys enough. If your ever in...

Thank-you, Mossyrocks, that's amazing. Can't wait to see which GPX's intersect my route. 0 degrees here this morning so that will be a fine project. I use Guru Maps Pro and can download the GPX into it for the trip. Cheers.

    Need Pennsylvania trip advise

Thank-you Fullhouse, I have each of these on the list. I am building the trip using Furkot.com. I had read about the flood several years ago when I took at Triumph Trophy from Maine to Ohio. Flight 93 is a must stop at ...that was a very bad day for our country. I will try to connect with you...

    Need Pennsylvania trip advise

So, I live in Maine and am picking my 2014 FJR up in Ohio and want to go back thru the Grand Canyon of PA.  What else do I want to see? Ride thru? Visit. I will leave Wooster, Oh and drop down into W. Virginia and take back roads to somewhere around Cumberland, MD and up into Pa. Thoughts?

Thinking of buying a Fluke automotive ScopeMeter... Thoughts, Ideas?

I have two Fluke meters for HVAC work and can vouch for the brand. Excellent. I've dropped them and baptized them. Though, years ago one proved it could not endure being run over by my truck.

    Going to the Dark Side

Thank-you! The pipe he has is definitely bigger than the 1" in the link you gave. I've put together more of that stuff than I care to remember. That said, it seemed to me that 1" would do it, and sure enough, it does. This forum is such a great resource! Cheers.
