So, I put her up on the center stand. I accidentally bumped the shifter so the neutral light was off. Pushed it down into first then back to neutral and guess what. She fired without WOT. Ran until warm and shut down on her own. WTH? I’m real confused now. Could it be that the battery was too...

No Bueno…….. Moving it to the garage for further inspection.

Actually, I did smell gas (faint) on my last attempt to start it. I’ll be going out to try again shortly and I hope she fires right up 🤞

Just went out and tried it again WOT for 45 seconds. Nada. I’ll pull the plugs and see if she’s getting spark tomorrow.

Thanks, yea I didn’t think about getting the engine up to temp before shutting it down. Never had to do that with my HARDLY ABLESONS

I’m going to have to wait until tomorrow to try to start it. We have 60mph wind gusts going on now.

Crank for 60 seconds? I can’t imagine that’s gonna be good for the starter. I’ll go out in a minute and give it a 30 second spin and report back. I opened the gas cap and I don’t think the fuel is stale. Unless it can go stale and still smell fresh.

Same here. Our lights don’t turn green for a 3 count (and I have seen cars run them anyway)  My wife likes to tell me it’s all clear when she rides with me. I ALWAYS look anyway.

Or do you all get “challenged” at stop lights? Never have I had so many idiots try to get me to race. I just watch them speed off into the distance. They must think my FJR is fast 😁
